Celebrating artistic freedom & cultural interdependence through music

I have a dream of walking across America starting at the Atlantic Ocean in Brooklyn, New York and ending at the Pacific Ocean in Del Mar, California. My only mode of transportation would be my own two feet for the entirety of the walk.

20 years in the making, the walk would take me through over 300 towns and communities in 12 states. I will reach out to fellow music educators, schools, mayors and even coffee shops and restaurants to offer solo performances, collaborative concerts with students and / or professionals, an afternoon of guest teaching, or something the community might suggest.

Though I had this idea of walking so long ago, it seems now, in light of where the world has taken us in the last year, to have an added meaning as we assess the awakening of a new future.
